In the valley of Panzoult, the vineyards of Chinon,Nicolas Pointeau welcomes you in the Sabliere's Domain.
The vineyard has 8 hectares of vines and sales are increasing each year.
Thirty years after his grandfather, Nicolas Pointeau has decided to revive the Sabliere's Domain..
Our Domain
Located between Tours and Saumur, Chinon is a one of the top places in the history of France, famous for Francois Rabelais, Joan of Arc and Charles VII. At the heart of the Loire Valley, the influence of the Vienne and the Loire allow wine makers to raise Chinon wines with rich and varied flavors of the terroir of l'AOC CHINON. On sandy loam soils and subsoils and sandy clay compounds with many flint. On the uplands and slopes we find "Cornuelles" and "Perruches" soils compounds clays sponge gray white. The wine of Chinon is drawn mainly from CABERNET FRANC grappes, said "Breton" known for its aromas of red fruits and violets, sometimes accompanied by Cabernet Sauvignon. The Chinon, AOC branded, each year reveals genine wines pround of its his tradition and his knowledge to the land, the grape and of course our know-how. Le 14 et 15 avril, Venez savourer les nouveautés 2012...
C'est avec grand plaisir que nous vous accueillons pour la 5eme année consécutive aux portes ouvertes du Domaine de la Sablière. Ce Week end vous permettra de venir découvrir le millésime 2012 et de déguster de nouvelles gourmandises.
Cette année nous présenterons de nouveaux venus qui se feront un plaisir de vous faire découvrir leur production : Le Domaine de La Crouzille (Foie gras et Spécialités de canard du Périgord) et l'EARL Bourdonnat (Vin AOC Reuilly)
Pour la première fois, nous invitons à participer à notre randonnée Décou'verte... un parcours d'environ 6Km, guidé et orienté sur la rencontre de notre terroir.
